Service Description

My Lifto is a marketplace platform that connects passengers seeking inter-city transportation with drivers who have available seats, and people needing to send parcels or cargo with drivers who have available cargo space. My Lifto is NOT a transport provider and does not employ any drivers.

User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use My Lifto. Each person may create only one account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

Account Registration

Accounts are created using phone number verification via OTP (One-Time Password). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Driver Terms

Drivers must complete a verification process including CNIC, driving license, and vehicle document submission. My Lifto reviews submitted documents but does not guarantee their completeness, accuracy, or authenticity. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of My Lifto. Drivers set their own prices, schedules, and decide which ride requests to accept.

Passenger Terms

Passengers agree to provide accurate booking information including correct pickup and drop-off locations. Passengers must treat drivers with respect and follow all safety guidelines. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in account suspension.

User Responsibility & Disclaimer

My Lifto is a marketplace platform only. We connect passengers with drivers and people with cargo space, but we are not a party to any agreement between users. My Lifto does not provide transportation services and is not a common carrier.

My Lifto does not guarantee the safety of any ride, passenger, driver, or cargo shipment. All users participate entirely at their own risk. You acknowledge that inter-city travel involves inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of your belongings.

My Lifto is not liable for any theft, loss, or damage to personal property, goods, or cargo that occurs during or as a result of any ride or shipment arranged through the platform. Users are encouraged to secure their own insurance coverage for valuable items.

While My Lifto performs manual document verification for drivers, this verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee of character, or warranty of safety. It remains the sole responsibility of each user to exercise due diligence, verify the identity and credentials of the other party, and make informed decisions before engaging in any ride or cargo transaction.

Booking & Payments

The fare displayed at booking is the agreed amount. Passengers pay through the app. Drivers use a credit system: 10 credits = 100 PKR. Each verified driver receives 2 free ride postings per month. Credits purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation Policy

Ride requests can be cancelled without charge before the driver accepts. After a driver accepts a booking, cancellation fees may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the departure time. Our cancellation policy is designed to protect both passengers and drivers.

No-Show Policy

Drivers will wait for passengers for 10 minutes past the agreed pickup time. After this grace period, the driver may mark the passenger as a no-show and cancel the booking. No-show incidents are recorded and may affect account standing.

Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to engage in fraud, harassment, discrimination, or any illegal activity. Transporting illegal goods is strictly prohibited. Violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

Limitation of Liability

My Lifto is a marketplace platform only and is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or behavior of any driver, passenger, or user. Under no circumstances shall My Lifto be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from or related to any ride, cargo shipment, or interaction facilitated through the platform.

My Lifto expressly disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the safety, quality, reliability, or legality of any ride or cargo service. Users travel and transact entirely at their own risk. My Lifto is not liable for any theft, loss, or damage to personal property or goods.

Driver document verification performed by My Lifto does not create any warranty of safety, reliability, or suitability. Users are solely responsible for their own verification and decision-making. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

Termination

My Lifto reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in illegal activity, harm the community, or are associated with suspected fraudulent or suspicious activity. My Lifto may suspend accounts at its sole discretion pending investigation of any reported concerns. Users may delete their accounts at any time through the app settings.

Account Termination and Deletion

Users may terminate their account at any time by following the deletion process within the app. Upon user-initiated deletion, the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy regarding data retention shall apply.

In certain circumstances, My Lifto may initiate the deletion of a user's account at the user's request (submitted via email at , phone, or WhatsApp contact). Such requests are verified before processing. The same 30-day grace period and data retention policies apply.

Upon account deletion, all licenses and rights granted to the user under these terms immediately cease, the user must stop using the service immediately, any pending bookings or transactions are cancelled, and credits in the user's account are forfeited and are non-refundable.

The following provisions survive account deletion: any outstanding payment obligations, our rights to retain anonymized transaction records as required by law, dispute resolution and governing law provisions, and limitation of liability provisions.
